IPOs
You can find IPOs in the Equity part of the Deals & League Tables module in ThomsonOne (T1). This part contains information of over 80.000 transactions since 1970: IPOs, but also follow-ons, convertible issues etc. This database is accessible from the list of financial databases on the EDSC website. You can access T1 from home with a VPN-connection.

Within ThomsonOne you have to click Screening & Analysis at the left side of the screen (almost at the bottom), then click Deals & League Tables, choose Equity and then choose Advanced Search.
Searching the Advanced Search in de Equity consists of several steps:
In the first step you give the criteria of the issues you are looking for: the period when the issues have taken place, the issue type (for example IPOs), the country of the company, and so forth. This results finally in a number of issues.
In the second step you make a report with the details of these issues: the name of the company, the specific date of the issue, the offer price, the exchange etc. This report can be downloaded to Excel.
TIP: If you want to search for annual report data or stock prices of the companies found, add the SEDOL-codes and the ISIN-codes of the companies to the report. The Excel add-in of Thomson One Banker and Datastream can 'read' these identifiers. |
