Paintings and drawings by Chinese artist Yuelai Ruan are on display in the EUR from 1 February until 1 April 2006. In 2005, Ruan graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy. He started his art education when he was 15 years old, in China. The exhibition is being organised together with the Association of Chinese Students and Scholars in the Netherlands.
Ruan describes the theme of the exhibition as follows: ‘the environment has changed, people’s mentality, the human body has changed, so what are we transforming?’
