New lease of life tree shack

On 1 March, the tree shack got a new lease of life on children’s farm De Kooi in southern Rotterdam. Together with GreenEUR colleagues and students said goodbye to the tree shack, while enjoying a hot chocolate.

The Woudestein log cabin, constructed out of felled campus trees, was a GreenEUR initiative, created to raise the sustainability awareness of campus users.

On its new location in southern Rotterdam, sustainability awareness will continue to expand. On the children’s farm, lessons in environmental education for children will be taught in the tree shack.
