EFB goes international

Earlier this month, the English website of Erasmus Facility Services (EFB) went live. A website in English is virtually indispensable for a university with a large number of non-Dutch students and lecturers, especially considering that in the near future these numbers will only increase due to EUR’s further internationalization.

EFB had been aware for a while that their Dutch site was not sufficient for a considerable part of the lecturers and students at EUR. As a result, a translation of the Dutch site featured high on EFB’s agenda. To begin with, a translation was made of information most relevant for international campus users, such as meeting & event planning and safety.

Information which is needed less urgently or used less often will be translated over the next few months. The resulting English site of Erasmus Facility Services will be a condensed version of the original, further increasing the user-friendliness of the EFB site.
