Carrousel partly closed off

Current measurements have shown that the coffer dam near restaurant The Caroussel (L-building) does not have the required level of stability. The building contractor will be spending the next few days looking into the potential causes. As safety is our foremost priority, the restaurant will be only partly in use during the check up, which are taking place around 7 February. The walls of the restaurant are themselves stable.

During the construction of the car park, the stability of the coffer dam and the walls of surrounding buildings are regularly checked. This is done so that immediate countermeasures may be taken in case deviations are determined.
