Installation new data centre T-20 in August

On the 20th floor of building T, one of EUR’s two new and modern data centres will be located. A lot of preliminary work has already been done, In July and August, the final construction activities will be taking place. These may result in some degree of nuisance.

From 16 - 30 July, vertical pipelines will be installed. To this end, there will be drilling works on all floors. These will be taking place in the corridors and before 9 am whenever possible. There may be occasional drilling works  during office hours.

In order to get building materials to the 20th floor, cranes will have to be used on two occasions: 30 July and 8 August. The cranes will be situated on the street between building T and Hogeschool Rotterdam. On both days, the entrance and exit to the car park will be blocked. You are requested to use the entrance and exit on the other side of the car park.
