Virus definition files
The archive always contains two types of files. The first file (50xxdat.exe) contains the necessary virus definition files with the matching engine updates; the second file (sdat50xx.exe) only contains the virus definition files. Should you receive the report that "no qualifying products" were found, your virus scanner is outdated and you should install the latest McAfee version. Retrieve the file of your choice and execute the programme; the latest version is the file with the highest number.
