ERNA MAILINGLIST
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE
The Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) offers departments and student organisations the possibility of setting up a mailing or discussion list. Via this provision, these parties can communicate efficiently with the target group and/or business contacts via email.
THIS IS HOW IT WORKS
A special application of email is an electronic discussion list or mailing list. Those subscribing to discussion lists can send each other messages (emails).
The list automatically handles distribution of the message sent to the list to all subscribers on the list. Mailing lists provide the opportunity of sending a message (email) quickly and easily to a large group of addressees. This is so easy because the sender does not have to type in all address information each time and this information is visible to those receiving the email message.
COSTS
There is no cost for this service to EUR organisation sections.
