University Psychologists

The goal of the university psychologists is to help students resolve problems that prevent them from focusing on their studies.

The aim of the initial orientation consultation is to help the psychologist gain a better understanding of the complaint or problem and to examine the connection between the problem and the student’s course of study. This consultation is sometimes enough to help get someone back on track, but more often further counselling is required. This takes the form of participation in individual or group therapy.

If the university psychologists are unable to provide the necessary help, they will refer the student to other care providers.
