Guidelines for applying for financial support

Students, groups of students or student associations and organisations may submit a subsidy application for activities that fit in with the objectives of the Fund to the secretary at the abovementioned address.
Applicants must take into account that the Fund never offers full funding and that a significant own contribution will be required in addition to the support from other parties.
The Fund Committee will decide whether an application qualifies for funding. The decision of the Committee is final and may not be appealed.
The application must meet the following criteria:

Application criteria

1. Submission period
Applications for funding must be submitted to the Fund secretary no less than two months before commencement of the activity.

2. Objective and budget
The application may be brief, but must be clear on the following:

  • The objective of the activity for which a financial contribution is being requested. The goal must always correspond with the Fund’s objective.
  • An estimate of expense as well as funding, including a list of current subsidy applications (e.g. to government institutes and other funds), contributions by University/faculty, own contributions, etc.
  • Applications must at all times be sent by regular post. Failure to do so will result in the application being rejected.
  • Applications must be comprehensive. If documents are to follow, this must be clearly stated in writing.

3. Name, address, etc.
The applicant’s name and address details as well as e-mail address, telephone number and fax number (if applicable) must be stated clearly on the application. Natural persons must also state their student number.

Legal entities (e.g. associations and foundations) are requested to include a copy of the articles of association and a copy of the certificate of registration with the Chamber of Commerce.
