Funding

An important, if not the most important, aspect of a period of study abroad is the arrangement of the necessary funding. While there are many options, bear in mind that there are also rules and deadlines, which sometimes fall early. Here too, early preparation is essential.

Possibles grants for student exchanges

Possible grants for continued studies or research

  • Cultural agreements (check whether your country has a cultural agreement with your country of destination. Contact your country's embassy )
  • Fulbright (for studying or internships in the US)
  • Leonardo da Vinci (for internships in Europe after graduation)

There are also other grants available. Inquire about the possibilities at the international office of your faculty or go to: www.grantfinder.nl.

At the ESSC you can also find a hardcopy book from Nuffic with all possible grants in it. It also covers relatively small grants that are not included in the Nuffic grantfinder. You could borrow the book from the ESSC for one week. You need to leave your student ID at the ESSC as a deposit.
