Payment of tuition fees by another person/institution
It is possible to have the tuition fee paid by another person or company, for example, your parents, employer or scholarship/grant institution. In that case, choose in Studielink either 'My parents are paying' or 'Someone else is paying' (screen shot).
After that you can choose one of the following payment methods:
- Payment by invoice
- Payment by bank transfer
- Payment via scholarship/grant institution
- Automatic payment/direct debt authorization (Dutch bank account required)
1. Payment by invoice
If you want to pay the tuition fee via an invoice, choose in Studielink 'Payment is performed using another method'. In addition, please send an e-mail to Bureau Onderwijsgelden (bog@eur.nl) to ask for an invoice. Please supply:
- student number
- address to send the invoice to
- tuition fee amount
- academic year (e.g. registration academic year 2011-2012)
2. Payment by bank (only from non-Dutch bank account)
If you want to pay the tuition fee via an invoice, indicate in Studielink how the payment will be performed (via Dutch or non-Dutch bank account). Transfer the tuition fee to accountnumber 49.09.29.311 at the ABN-AMRO bank mentioning the students name and student number. For money transfers from outside the Netherlands the following payment information has to be provided:
- IBAN code: NL10ABNA0490929311
- BIC code: ABNANL2A
3. Payment via scholarship/grant institution
Choose in Studielink 'Payment is performed using another method'. After that, send an e-mail to Bureau Onderwijsgelden (bog@eur.nl) stating that you have submitted an enrolment application and that payment of tuition fee is taken care of by (name of organisation which provides scholarship). In addition please mention:
- studentnumber
- amount of tuition fee
- academic year (e.g. registration academic year 2008-2009)
- name of scholarship
4. Automatic payment/direct debt authorization (Dutch bank account required)
Choose in Studielink 'My parents are paying' or 'Someone else is paying' (screen shot) and provide name etc. from the person/institution that will pay the tuition fee. As soon as your tuition fee has been established, you will receive an e-mail from Studielink. After that, you can print an Authorisation for Direct Debit Payment of Fees in Studielink. How to print the authorisation. Clearly fill in the name and other particulars of the person that will pay the tuition fee, along with the giro or bank account from which the automatic payments will be collected. If a company or institution will pay your tuition fee, fill in the name of the company and the name of the contact.
Please note: The account holder should sign the form, but don't forget to personally sign the form as well. If you are authorised to sign on behalf of a company or institution, additional evidence is required (for example registration with the Chamber of Commerce or a statement by the company or institution). Have it signed by the person/instituition that pays the tuition fee and send it to:

You can download a Change form for authorisation for debit payment of fees if the printed Studielink version is not correct, and fill it out manually.
