Re-registration and Studielink
- How do I re-register?
- I am a doctoraal student. Should I now register as a Master’s student?
- I am not registered for the 2011-2012 academic year. How do I re-register?
- I am enrolling in a Master’s programme. However, I will not complete my Bachelor’s programme until October and the Master’s course starts in September.
How do I re-register?
- Go to Studielink, log in with your user name and password and then go to the ‘Re-register’ section (“herinschrijven”).
- As soon as you have received an e-mail stating the amount of the fees payable, you can create a standing order (= order for a direct debit) in Studielink. Print and sign the standing order and send it to Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, Afdeling CAE, Antwoordnummer 2791, 3000 VB Rotterdam, the Netherlands or (if applicable) send a Bewijs Betaald Collegegeld (BBC; confirmation of payment of fees) confirming that you have already paid the statutory tuition fees to another research university (universiteit) or university of applied sciences (hogeschool) to Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, Afdeling Studentenadministratie/Inschrijvingen, Antwoordnummer 2791, 3000 VB Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
- Please note: if you are issued with a binding recommendation regarding the continuation of studies (bindend studieadvies) from the tutors in your study programme, you will only be able to re-register if you have received a favourable recommendation.
For any questions about registration, please contact the Erasmus Student Service Centre (ESSC).

I am a doctoraal student. Should I now register as a Master’s student?
Go to Studielink and select the ‘Re-registration’ option. You will then be automatically registered for the appropriate programme and phase. You cannot register for a former doctoraal programme (with the exception of Medicine); you can only re-register.
The deadline for students to complete their Bachelor’s programme depends on the course. Note that it is possible to switch to a Master's programme during the academic year.
If you wish to switch, select the Master’s programme of your choice in Studielink. Please note that you will require an admission statement (Bewijs van Toelating/BVT) from the faculty.

I am enrolling in a Master’s programme. However, I will not complete my Bachelor’s programme until October and the Master’s course starts in September.
As long as you have not yet received your Bachelor's Degree, you are required to register for both the Bachelor's and the Master’s programme. To do so, you must complete the following steps:
- Re-register as a Bachelor’s student for the 2011-2012 academic year through Studielink. In addition, you must register for the Master’s programme at your faculty. The faculty then determines whether you are already eligible for admission to the Master's programme. If this is the case, you will receive an admission statement.
- As soon as you have received the admission statement, you must log on to Studielink and submit a registration request for the Master's programme
