Department for Student Administration

Department for Exam Administration

The Department for Exam Administration looks after the recording and supervision of marks and the organisation of interim and final examinations for Erasmus University programmes. To do its job properly, the Department for Exam Administration places value on client orientation, high quality and solid processes.

Since March 2005, the Erasmus Student Service Centre in EB has done part of the front-office work. However, in the corridor of the E-building (EB), important activities for education continue unabatedly. For further information you can visit the next web page: http://www.eur.nl/english/ea/

Enrolment

The staff of the Enrolment Office handles the registration and deregistration of students for initial and non‑initial degree programmes. For the initial Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes, application, admission and registration basically is done via Studielink. Enrolment details are transferred from Studielink and managed in the Erasmus Enrolment System (EIS). If any special or supplementary admission requirements apply, they consult closely with the faculties about the division of duties and roles for the administrative recording of these.

Non-initial
Registrations for non-initial degree programmes are not handled via Studielink. Registration forms for these programmes are collected by the faculties in question and processed in EIS by the enrolment department of the student administration.

Deregistration
Students can deregister prematurely during an academic year for various reasons. Students can start this process via Studielink, but the Enrolment department takes these requests into consideration and may also initiate a refund process. For further information you can visit the next webpage: http://www.eur.nl/english/registration/

Admission Office

The staff of the Admissions Office assess whether applicants who hold a international diploma are eligible for admission to a study programme at EUR. They determine the level of the foreign diploma and whether supplementary language requirements and/or additional entrance examinations will be necessary. Functional management of teaching systems

The Student Administration department performs the functional management of all information systems within the education domain. These systems are Osiris, Erasmus Enrolment System (EIS) and Studielink.
