Working on tomorrow's campus
Erasmus University Rotterdam has seven faculties or schools and a number of institutes. Six faculties are located on the university Woudestein campus, situated in the east of the city. The faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, located near the city centre, is part of the Erasmus Medical Centre, one of the largest medical centres in Europe.
Erasmus University Rotterdam is the home base for around 20,000 students, and every year the numbers are increasing. In order to prepare this campus for the future, ambitious plans have been developed. By 2013 for Woudestein, and 2017 for Erasmus MC, some of these plans will already have been realised. This means that construction activities are currently underway, and they will be taking place while study and work on campus continue as normal. Clear, well-organised construction logistics will help to limit any inconvenience.
