ERNA Internet facility

Erasmus Remote Network Access (ERNA) is the internet facility for students and employees of Erasmus University Rotterdam. Full-time and part-time students who are enrolled at EUR and have paid their tuition fees automatically have an ERNA-BASIC account.
This account gives you access to the internet and the EUR network with a (analogue) modem connection. It is also possible to log in to the network at the designated places for laptops.
To use the ERNA-BASIC account you need:
- Password
- User name
- E-mail address

Computer Rooms

On campus Woudestein you will have access to many PC work spots. For all you fast moving students you can check your mail, look up your grades and make appointments by using the PCs in the hallways of all student buildings. If you own a notebook you can use the wireless facilities within the building or plug-in points. But also outside the buildings EUR offers more and more wireless access to IT-facilities. Plug-in hotspots can be found in the restaurants, the University Library and in G-building. This last building is entirely designed for students. Here you will find break-out rooms, meeting studios and printing facilities. To log-in on EUR PC work spots you always need your Erna username and password.

You can check the availibility of PC workplaces here.

Every faculty has computer rooms where students are allowed to use the computers. The information about your user account (login name, password and email address) will be sent to you together with your Student card. If you have not received this, the best thing is to call the helpdesk of your faculty:
