There are a number of ways you can pursue a doctor's degree at the Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR). Members of staff at EUR, but others, who may be employees outside the University, can be supervised by a professor at the University (a promoter) while working on a thesis. Appointments as doctoral candidates are also made by the university. The EUR research schools provide PhD programmes for this purpose.
