English level test for admission to the Master in Public Management and Public Policy
At the request of and in consultation with the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Language & Training Centre organises a level test in English for students who would like to apply for the Master in International Public Management and Public Policy (IMP).
Content of the test
The English level test for IMP consist of three parts:
1. Quick Placement Test (computer based test, maximum 30 minutes)
2. Writing assignment (45 minutes)
3. Oral test - interview with an English teacher (10 minutes)
Results
The results of the test is a score based on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference. Level C1 is required for admission to the IMP-Master.
Enrolment
The LTC offers an English level test for potential IMP-students twice a year: in June and early August. You need to do the following to enrol for the test:
- You reserve a place in the schedules for both the Quick Placement Test + writing assignment and for the oral test (only possible when the exact test dates are available);
- You pay for the test in the webshop (only possible when the exact test dates are available).
After reservation and payment, you will be informed about the locations of the test by email in the week before the test will take place.
Dates
Test dates in June: 18 to 22 June 2012. The deadline to register for this intake is Wednesday 13 June, 16.00 hrs. The exact test dates for August 2012 will be published here later on.
Costs
The costs for this level test are €60 per participant.
