Legal tuition fee and two institutions

If you are taking two programmes, which are covered by the legal tuition fee, you have to pay the tuition fee only once.

You can therefore enrol as a full-time student at another university (universiteit) or university of professional education (hogeschool) without extra costs. If you are enrolled at another institution, where you have paid the legal tuition fee, you should send a statement from the university or junior college where the tuition fee was paid before 1 September. Fill in € 0.00 as the amount of tuition fee to pay to Erasmus University Rotterdam. Send this to:

Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam
Department for Studentadministration/Registration
P.O. Box 1738
3000 DR Rotterdam
The Netherlands

Institutional fees and two institutions

You have to pay Erasmus University the full amount owed in case  you do not qualify for the legal tuition fee. In 2012-2013 there is one exception: you get a reduction or exemption of tuition fee in case you pay an institutional fee equal to the low legal tuition fee of EUR 1771,00 at another university or hogeschool in The Netherlands. In that case you should send a statement from the university or junior college where the tuition fee was paid before 1 September.

Different fees

You have enrolled as a student at Erasmus University Rotterdam for more programmes at different fees. You will only be obliged to pay the tuition fee once, at the highest rate.
