Procedure of admission
Candidates seeking admission to the MEMR must demonstrate a strong interest in urban management. The academic committee of the course will execute the selection procedure. The selection will be based on the CV, academic background, working experience and a letter of motivation, resulting from the application form. In general, prerequisites to be accepted in the course are: a strong interest in urban management; a Masters Degree and Proficiency in English; you need to submit a copy of your university diploma(s) and candidates from outside the EU / EEA also have to provide a certificate that proves their proficiency in English (we require a minimum score of 575 / 232 / 90 on the TOEFL test, or alternatively a minimum of 6.5 on IELTS).
The selection procedure is open all year. The final deadline for the receipt of completed application forms at Erasmus University is the 30th of June of each year (Students that need a VISA to study in the Netherlands must apply well before this date, as - by this date - they are required to have all the necesary documents complete that are neeeded for the application of a student Visa). After the 30th of June applications for the MEMR course can only be considered if there are still places available. In the beginning of September participants are welcomed in Rotterdam to attend the start of the first semester program.
