Book exchange
Exchanging books might sound dull, but is it?
Arrange a cheap Christmas present for your mother or change your own book collection without spending too much money. Gather all the books that you haven’t read for years or never read at all from your shelf or from under your bed.
On Wednesday 23 May you can swap these books during the Book exchange free of charge for another discarded (but perfectly fine) book from somebody else. It doesn't matter if it is high quality literature or just a nice thriller, even study books can be exchanged (no other languages than English and Dutch). As long as they are complete, readable and don't fall apart, they will pass the test and you can look for an other book that's waiting for a new owner
Haven´t got a book to swap? Everybody is welcome to come by and buy a book (while supplies last) in return for a donation for the Stiching Lezen and Schrijven (foundation against illiteracy)
The Book Exchange is organized in cooperation with Studystore
Swap a book? Do you have a book that you would like to swap for a 'new' one during the Book Exchange? You can bring your books to the Studystore in the V-building from 21 May onwards. Is your book approved, then you'll receive a coupon which you can use to get a new book during the exchange. |
