Functional management of Blackboard and Metis
Functional management focuses on the research information system (Metis) and the EUR electronic teaching environment (Blackboard). This section also provides assistance to users for the use of the system and acts as a helpdesk if any problems arise.
In addition, functional management keeps track of users’ preferences, which can be used to realise a new version of the system, and it acts as a discussion partner for the ICT department.
Finally, functional management provides advice on resolving information issues and takes part in projects. The FM department cooperates closely with both the faculties and the Teaching and Research Information Manager.
