Information management
The work of the SSC ER&S Information Manager is aimed at optimising the work of the faculty staff with the teaching and research systems such as Osiris, Studielink and Metis. The Information Manager monitors the links between the systems by optimising the information management. Although the Information Manager has a working knowledge of ICT, he/she is definitely not an IT expert. He/she views the information provision from the perspective of the business processes.
Projects
The aim here is to get the correct information to its destination in time. This may make it necessary to implement new information systems to support the teaching and research processes, or to modify existing systems. A project-based approach will mostly be used for this.
Cooperation
The Teaching and Research Information Manager also cooperates closely with the Group Information Manager, who organises the main aspects and relationships between the information domains of teaching and research, finance, personnel, etc.
