Language & Training Centre
The Language & Training Centre (LTC) offers language courses to students and employees of Erasmus University Rotterdam and supports students throughout their studies with intensive training programmes, workshops and courses.
All language courses are linked to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). This framework describes the levels of foreign language proficiency as developed by the Council of Europe. The language courses are taught by experienced language trainers usually native speakers of the language to be learned. The other workshops, training programmes and courses are taught by experienced and expert trainers both from within and outside the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Target groups
The activities we offer are aimed toward students, faculties and employees of the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. The brochure of LTC has been organised into separate sections for each of these three target audiences.
Tailor-made programmes
In addition to the regular programmes, the Language & Training Centre is happy to deliver tailor-made programmes at the request of and in consultation with faculties, groups of employees or groups of students. This includes language courses and other training programmes developed at the request of faculties as part of their curriculum, in view of the binding study advice system, or complementary to the degree programmes offered.
