Dutch tax efficiency and the flexibility of Dutch corporate and tax law are amongst some of the reasons which may lead international companies to choose for a Dutch holding company. However, those of the parent company involved with the Dutch rules and regulations, must be aware of local issues at hand.
This practical course in the field of Dutch Law, Tax and Accountancy is meant as a basic course for foreign civil and tax lawyers and accountants dealing with The Netherlands and covers the following topics:
- A general introduction to Dutch company law (incl. place of the Dutch BV in corporate Europe, regulations of the Dutch BV);
- Dutch business organization, corporation and civil law;
- Joint venture structures and the impact of the "flex B.V." on joint venture structures;
- Dutch taxation (incl. transactions with related entities; interest deduction; back-to-back financing; anit-abuse measuresm, transfer pricing);
- Accounting;
- Lease accounting (incl. Dutch GAAP / IFRS literature, current developments under IFRS.
The custom course is provided in English and offers a combination of theory and practice.
Results
The purpose of this course is to lay the foundations of basic knowledge of the field of Dutch Law, Tax and Accountancy.
