Alexander Hogenboom is an ERIM PhD candidate at Erasmus School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree as well as a Master of Science degree in Economics and Informatics. His research interests include (applications in economics of) agent-based systems, the Semantic Web, query optimization, and natural language processing. Since his Bachelor in Economics and Informatics, Alexander already published several papers in these areas (an up-to-date overview of publications can be found here). In his current research at Erasmus Studio, Alexander combines some of his research interests in the context of the Semantic Scholarly Publishing project, focusing on argumentation discovery.
