In Memoriam

It is with deep sadness that we have to announce that Richard Freling passed away on Tuesday morning, January 29, 2002 at the age of 34. We will remember him as an extremely kind person with a deep interest in science and spiritual matters. He will be greatly missed.
Richard was one of the founders and the first director of ECOPT. He also put a lot of work in organizing the Conference on Optimization in Public Transport. Unfortunately, he will not be able anymore to see the result.
