Conference Forecasting Structure and Time Varying Patterns in Economics and Finance

Recently, the economies of many countries have experienced severe shocks and crises. Substantial challenges to the stability of economic structures occurred. Modeling time-varying economic processes has become a topic of great interest. Forecasting in this context poses great challenges to both academics and researchers in organizations like central banks. During this conference leading and young researchers will discuss these issues and present new approaches to this topic.

Registration
Please fill out the online registration form. Fee is € 200; registration after April 15: € 250. Deadline for registration is April 26, 2013.
The maximum number of participants for the workshop is 90.
Accommodation
Participants are kindly requested to book their hotel themselves. Hotel Novotel Rotterdam Brainpark is within walking distance of the Woudestein Campus. Hotel Emma is located at the city center and is easily accessible by public transport. You can find more information here.
Conference dinner
Conference dinner will take place in Euromast on 24 May 2013. Transport to the Euromast is by boat on the river Maas. The boats leave from Jachthaven Kralingse Plas (see point B on the map). Point A is the conference venue. Hotel Novotel Rotterdam Brainpark is also indicated in the map.
Poster sessions
Poster presenters are kindly requested to prepare their posters with the maximum size A0 landscape format (width x height: 841 × 1189 mm or 33.11 × 46.81 in).
