Research
Sjoerd van Bekkum obtained his M.Sc. in 2006 (Cum Laude) and his M.Phil. in 2007 from Erasmus University. He obtained his Ph.D. in 2010 from Tinbergen Institute and applied his doctoral research in 2008 at The Conference Board's New York-based Economics Department. From January-December 2010, Van Bekkum joined the Finance department of New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business as a visiting scholar. His research covers a range of topics including empirical valuation, executive compensation, and return predictability, and currently appears in journals such as Financial Management.
