Research

Jaap de Koning is Endowed Professor in Labour Market Policy at the Erasmus School of Economics (ESE) and the director of SEOR, a research agency which is part of the ESE. In addition, he is a member of the Strategic Advisory Committee of the Foundation for Industrial Policy and Communication. His main fields of research are evaluation of labour market policy, the role of education and schooling in labour market, and labour market models. He has edited books that were published: ‘The evaluation of Active Labour market Policies’ and ‘Employment and Training Policies in Central and Eastern Europe’.
