Research
Martyn Mulder teaches mathematics and operations research at the Econometric Institute since 1989. He was visiting professor at Leiden University, at the Open Universiteit of the Netherlands and at COCMA Utrecht. From 1980 until 1989 his teaching was in history and philosophy of science. He obtained his PhD in 1980 at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Since then he has published extensively in graph theory with over fifty co-authors from more than ten countries. His research has found applications in location theory, voting theory, consensus theory, mathematical biology, chemistry and literary theory.
