Calendar

Permissions to folders

If you want to give someone permissions to view, create or edit appointments in your calendar, go to calendar view in Outlook, and under “My Calendars”, please right-click the calendar where you want to give access to (your own calendar is named just “Calendar”), and select “Change Sharing Permissions” from the popup-menu.

With the “Add” button, you can add one or more persons from the Address book. Then you can change the permissions for each person by selecting the person (under Name and Permission Level), and then choose one of the predefined permission levels, or specify a custom level by enabling the permissions in one of the 4 categories below. Click “OK” or “Apply” to activate the changed permissions.

If you want to change permissions for everyone (using the EUR Exchange server), select “Default” and change the permissions the same way as for a single person.

Delegates

If you want to give someone full permissions to manage your calendar and also receive and respond to meeting requests and send e-mail messages on your behalf, you can grant this person delegate access. For granting or changing delegate permissions, choose Tools -> Options, tab Delegates. To add a new delegate, click the “Add” button and select the person from the Address Book. In the Delegate Permissions window, you can select the items to which you want to grant the person delegate permissions to, and what permissions (Reviewer, Author, Editor).
