ESE PC-Lab
The ESE PC-Lab consists of nine rooms and three mail walls with a total of more than 200 computers.
The rooms are located on the 3rd floor of the H-building (H03). There are mail walls on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floor in the main elevator halls. Furthermore there is a special room (H03-24) with 10 plugin points for portable computers - for cabled access here you need to register your laptop at the helpdesk!
The PC-Lab is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00-21:00 hours. The mail walls are accessible during the university's opening hours.
PC-Lab closes early Friday, May 17th
The PC-lab will be closing earlier than usual (as of 18:00 hours) this coming Friday, May 17th, 2013.
MOVE PC-LAB FROM H03 TO T-LEVEL H-BUILDING MAY 2013
Please note that the ESE PC Lab will be moving from the third floor to the T floor of the H building during the weekend of May 25th and 26th, 2013. We expect to have the PC Lab up and running as of May 29th. Please allow a day or two for possible mishaps.
As a consequence, from Tuesday May 21st there will limited ICT support to ESE staff and students: there will be no walk-in access to the PC Lab, and there may be no support at the helpdesk H04-32 or for telephone calls to 82324; instead please email us at helpdesk@ese.eur.nl and we will do our best to answer your inquiries as soon possible during this period.
We hope to be back to normal support levels on Wednesday May 29th.
Eating and drinking
Remember that eating and drinking from open containers is not allowed in the PC-lab!
Automatic Log Off
Please note that if the system detects no mouse or keyboard activity of a user for a continuous period of 20 minutes, the system will log off the user automatically!
Deposit money into your printer account with your CHIP Card
It is also possible to deposit money into your printer account by paying with your CHIP Card. Use the Paycube device in room H03-13. Read more >>
Set default printer to labprinter
Unless you want to print a (more expensive) color copy to "colorprinter".
Please note that the SPSS PDF printer can not be used.
