If you disenrol from EUR during the academic year, you are entitled to a refund of the excess amount of tuition fees paid.
Completion grants and student representative grants
Full-time students who, as a result of extraordinary circumstances, are unable to graduate within the period during which the student grant is applicable, could receive financial assistance from the university. If you are a member of a university body or serve on the board of one of the student’s unions, then you are likely to be able to receive a student representative grant for a few months.
Private funding and the EUR emergency fund
There are private funds available to subsidise students who travel abroad to study for shorter or longer periods of time. Some of the funds assist students who find themselves in dire financial straits. The university’s emergency fund helps students with financial difficulties by granting them a short-term loan. For more information, please contact a student counsellor.
International exchange grants
If you are to participate as a student in an exchange programme with a foreign university, there are some options available to provide extra support for this purpose.
