Schedule for the interim election of the Personnel Section of the School Council in May/June 2012
In a letter dated April 20 2012 the Chairperson of the Personnel Section of the School Council (in Dutch PGFR) has requested the ESE Election Office to organise an interim election due to a vacancy in the PGFR from 1 July 2012, because Dr. Frank Neffke will leave the Council by that date.
For this purpose the following schedule has been set up:
2 – 24 May 2012
Nomination for candidates: nominations of candidates can be submitted to the ESE Election Office at H6-28/H6-26 until Thursday 24 May at 12:00 hours. The forms can be acquired from the ESE Election Office or retrieved via the Internet:
The person submitting a nomination will receive a confirmation of receipt including the day and time of submission.
After Thursday 24 May 12:00 hours, no additional candidates can be proposed. Immediately following, the specifications submitted will be checked against the Election Regulations.
Ultimately on Friday 25 May, the findings of the ESE Election Office will be shared with the persons who submitted as a candidate.
Until Friday 1 June at 12:00, any missing data related to the submission of the candidates can still be amended. After this time, the submission will be final and will be published on the ESE website. If there is only 1 candidate for the vacant seat, this person will be immediately appointed in the council.
Elections 15-21 June 24:00 hours
If there are more candidates, employees can cast their votes, starting from June 15 until June 21 at 24:00 hours. The voting documents will be determined before this date and will be sent to the Central Election Office for arranging the elections. In compliance to Article 17, paragraph 2, a voter can also submit a request to the ESE Election Office (H6-28) to vote in writing. The request must be received by the office before the last day of the election (thus ultimately at June 14). A person must cast his/her vote in writing until 2 July at 14:00 hours.
The results of the elections will be published on Friday 22 June on the ESE website.
