Training 'Conducting Performance & Development interviews'

The training ‘Conducting Performance & Development interviews' is designed to support managers in conducting effective P&D interviews. The training is intended for managers of support staff as well as for the science staff. The learning themes of the training are:

  • Coaching of development
  • Giving feedback
  • Dealing with reactions to feedback
  • Clear result- and development agreements

The training is very practical and designed to be closely linked to dilemma’s of individual participants. We work in small groups (maximum of five participants) with the support of a trainer and an actor. Each participant will have the opportunity to practice with their own case. This may be a difficult situation they encounter in the workplace but it can also be practising with one of the tools presented in the training. The advantage of working with an actor is that he can give direct feedback in an excercise situation. This way the individual lessons become quickly evident. The trainer provides personal feedback in addition to tips, tools and theory for conducting an effective Performance & Development interview. The duration of the training is four hours. The training is in Dutch and in English.De training is being organised on the following dates:
