The new print server (staffprsrvii.few.eur.nl) for Windows 7 staff computers will be activated this weekend (17 March). The printer connections on the computers will be automatically redirected from temporary server bearbutte to staffprsrvii. You may have to select the correct 'default printer' again (Start > Printers and Devices - right-click your printer and Set as default).

On Monday December 19th, Stata on staff pc's, will be upgraded from version SE 11 to MP 12, the multi processor version.

Starting 21 November, the firm Cofely will install the tubing and cabling necessary to connect the new base stations for the wireless network in the H-building.

During the weekend of 3-4 December, the ESE will switch to the SSC-I&CT Exchange server for its e-mails and electronic Calendar.

The Projects Data Volume has been moved as of yesterday October 15th, 2011 to a Windows based server. As a consequence of this move, the way the volume can be accessed on the ESE workstations has been changed as follows: instead of the former '\\uprojects.few.eur.nl' network location users must now access the data volume by: '\\few.eur.nl\dfs\projects'.

In connection with the continuing integration of IT services on campus, the account names at the ESE will become identical to the ERNA account names effectively from 2 June.
