New print server for Windows 7 staff computers

The new print server (staffprsrvii.few.eur.nl) for Windows 7 staff computers has been activated the weekend of 17 March 2012. The printer connections on the computers will be automatically redirected from temporary server bearbutte to staffprsrvii. You may have to select the correct 'default printer' again (Start > Printers and Devices - right-click your printer and Set as default).

Note that connections to printers of another organisational unit will have to be manually connected again (just type \\staffprsrvii.few.eur.nl in the Windows search bar). If you didn't logout, or the computer was off line, you may have to logout and restart the computer to pick up the new printer connections. And of course 'private' laptop users will need to remove the old connection manually and then connect again.
