Guidance

Guidance is an obligatory part of the bachelor's programme. The aim of the guidance classes is to offer first-year students a good start of their study and to guide them through the first year of the study.

Guidance Sessions are meetings between a group of approximately 15 students and their tutor. Tutors are IBEB students who are in either their second or third year of the IBEB programme who have been specially trained to coach first-year students during each session. There will be approximately 8 guidance sessions in which a variety of subjects will be covered including practical information about the programme, Binding Study Advice and coping with student life and coursework. Students have the opportunity to ask questions and share experiences with their tutor and the other students. Students are encouraged to provide feedback about their courses and the programme in general. Attendance of the guidance classes and participation in the assignments is mandatory.

Coordination

The guidance classes of BEB are coordinated by ms N. Twigt (ntwigt@remove-this.ese.eur.nl).
