Internships

The ESE provides you with an opportunity to complete an internship in the third year of your Bachelor’s Programme. An internship can be brought in instead of the minor or in your free electives. An internship takes eight weeks and has a student workload of 12 cr (336 hrs). During the internship you will be applying scientific knowledge and skills (gained during your study) in a professional environment. The internship has to have both an academic approach and content. Supervision during the internship consists of practical supervision by the internship company and academic supervision by the ESE.

You may also combine an internship with writing a thesis. In that case you will not receive separate credits for your internship and the internship is not listed on your grade list. You will not be writing a separate internship report and your thesis supervisor will provide supervision.

The procedure for doing and bringing in an internship in bachelor-3 is explained below.
