Majors

What is a major?

You will need to take a major in bachelor-3. A major is a coherent package of major courses and a major seminar. You do the major as a specialisation within your bachelor's programme. Each major corresponds to a master's specialisation. You can use a major to prepare yourself for a specific master's specialisation.

Within the IBEB programme a major consists of a major seminar (12 credits) and three major courses (3x4 credits). Some majors offer you the opportunity to choose from several seminars and courses.

Majors IBEB

The IBEB programme offers different majors. Each student should finish a complete major.

You can find the majors in the course schedules. Information about the content of major courses and major seminars is to be found in the course guide in SIN-Online.

Application and Admission

You do not need to apply for a specific major. Therefore you can choose during bachelor-3 which major you want to finish. You should register for the major courses and major seminar though. There are additional requirements for the major seminar.

Application major courses

You can apply for the major courses via SIN-Online. Most major courses do not have tutorial meetings. In that case you only need to subscribe to the courses channel in SIN-Online and for the examination via OSIRIS.
