Registering for courses
Procedure
You can register for courses via SIN-Online. There is a different registration procedure for the major seminars.
Only first-year bachelor's students will be registered for first-year courses automatically. All other students should register themselves for courses and tutorials. This also applies to senior students who need to retake a first-year's course.
Step 1: Log in
Log in on SIN-Online with your ERNA-account.
Step 2: Subscribe
Click on 'subscribe' in the menu in the left corner.
Step 3: Select a channel and course
If you click on 'subscribe' you will enter a field where you should select the course you want to take. You can do so by selecting the channel in the left upper corner. This is 'ESE' for students of the Erasmus School of Economics. Next you should select the course in the top block and click on 'Add subscription'. Repeat this for all courses you want to take. The block in the bottom shows which courses you are registered for. Click on 'Save changes' if you have finished.
You can also register by searching the course in the 'Course Guide' in SIN-Online. Click on the course code, next on 'channel' and after that on the gray button 'My subscription'. Here you will see your status: registered or not. You can change your status with the gray button 'Subscribe/Unsubscribe'.
After subscription to a course in SIN-Online, you will be automatically subscribed to this course in Blackboard the next day.
Deregistering
You can deregister for a course by selecting a course in the bottom block and click on 'Remove subscription'.
Registering for tutorials
You will need to register for a tutorial group as well. There is an obligatory attendance requirement for tutorials of bachelor-1 and bachelor-2 courses. Read more about applying for tutorials.
