Courses for exchange students
Bachelor’s courses
Exchange students can do English Bachelor’s courses of the second and third year. This includes major’s courses or minors. You can only take courses of bachelor-2 if your home university approves of this.
You are not allowed to take any first year’s courses. Exchange students do have to meet the tutorial attendance requirements.
Major seminars
Exchange students are allowed to do English major (bachelor) seminars. You should follow the regular registration procedure for major seminars, together with all regular bachelor’s students. Regular bachelor's students will have priority if there are not enough spots available to place all applicants for a certain seminar. Therefore you should always indicate at least three choices on the application form.

Master’s courses and seminars
Exchange students are only allowed to do master's courses and seminars if their home university has a contract with the ESE on master-level. In addition to this, you will need permission of the lecturer as well.
You can fill in the application form you have received through the exhange application package. You can hand this form in at H6-02. The inbound exchange coordinator will then send the form to the lecturer, who will decide if you have sufficient knowledge to take part in the master’s course or seminar. You will only be able to participate if there are enough places available for the course.
