Studying with disabilities at the ESE

The ESE offers students with a dissability (for example: dyslexia, chronical illness, psychological problems, overfatigue etc.) extra guidance.

A dissability can influence your study progress. It is important to make an appointment with a study adviser on time.

If you have a dissability you may be given extra study support. This support consists of for example, extra time for your exam or flexibility at the tutorial attendance. The examination board is responsible for these individual settlements, but you have to consult a study adviser first.

What to do if you have a dissability?

1. Intake

During the intake interview you will make a study planning with the study adviser. We will talk about your specific dissability and the influence on your study progress and study planning.

After the interview we will decide together if you need study support and contact the examination board.

Applying for an intake

You can apply for an interview via the Information Desk. You will have to fill in the application form and hand it in at the Information Desk in H6-02. The study advisers will then contact you for an interview via telephone or email.

The interviews will take place at the end of September or beginning of October. Please hand in the application form before 20 September at the Information Desk.

Applictaion form intake interview.

After the intake

You may need extra consultations with a study adviser after the intake procedure. We will discuss your study progress and bottlenecks in your study and examinations at the beginning of each block. If necessary we can make a new study planning.

After each interview we will decide together if you need extra study support and contact the examination board.
