Major courses

In your pre-master you will need to take a major course. This is a specialisation course, which you can use to orientate yourself for a master's specialisation. We therefore encourage you to take a major course corresponding to the master's specialisation of your choice, but this is not obligatory.

The following major courses can be taken next to FEB12001X - Applied Microeconomics without any overlaps in your timetable.

  • Accounting and Finance: FEB13001 - Finance 2
  • Economics and ICT: FEB32007 - ICT and Management
  • Economics of Markets, Organisations and Policy: FEB13050 - Economics of Markets, Organisations and Policy
  • Entrepreneurship: FEB13044 - Introduction to the Economics of Entrepreneurship, Governance, Organisation and Strategy  
  • Financial Accounting: FEB13006 - Financial Accounting 2
  • Financial Economics:  FEB13001 - Finance 2
  • Health Economics:  FEB13053 - Introduction to Health Economics
  • International Economics: FEB13067 - Quantitative Macro-economics
  • Management Accounting: FEB13007 - Management Accounting 2
  • Marketing: FEB13016 - Marketing Research 1
  • Urban, Port & Transport Economics: FEB13029 - Introduction to Transport Economics

You can also choose one of the other major courses, but you might encounter overlapping lectures or examinations. You can find an overview of the major courses in the course schedule.
