ESE's Funding Team

The Funding team supports researchers in applying for grants and awards. For example advice in writing the proposal and finding the right calls. ESE's funding team consists of highly experienced people in the area of Academic grants, prizes and subsidies.

ir Roel van den Berg

Roel van den Berg will support all staff members of our School in systematically exploring grant opportunities and collaborating with them towards a winning proposal. He is specialized in:

  • Academic projects (knowledge development) especially where it concerns European grant opportunities like those provided by the European Research Council (ERC) and Marie Curie Fellowships.
  • Strategic projects (combination of knowledge development and anticipated knowledge application) especially where it concerns funding from FP7-Cooperation. In this case research is done in international consortia, often combining universities, private sector firms and public sector entities. 
  • NWO-Grants

Prof. dr. Han Bleichrodt

Professor Bleichrodt will assist all the staff members concerning academic projects funded by

  • NWO (Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research)
  • KNAW (Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences) 
     

His extensive experience with writing and reviewing proposals for NWO and KNAW is useful to write a successful application.
