PhD Information for Staff, Procedures & Documents

Important update

From the end of 2012 onwards ESE will effect a number of changes in the process leading up to the meeting of the VCW. These changes will allow you to recruit more widely and possibly attain higher quality candidates for your PhD-project. Furthermore these changes allow more time for quality control by the ESE graduate schools (ERIM and The Tinbergen Institute) to ascertain the admissibility of the PhD candidates to the graduate schools. The new procedure differs significantly from the procedure used earlier.

In order to provide support to researchers and to maintain integrity in the research activities of its staff, Erasmus School of Economics has instituted a number of policies that provide a foundation for research practice at the School and University. These policies shall apply to all research activities. They specify the research infrastructure, policies, procedures and standards of the School and University, for any member of staff who undertakes research. It is the responsibility of researchers to familiarise themselves with the contents of these policies.
