Topics:
- Dj’s are the dance musicians of today. What is interesting for the discussion about the new professionals (dj’; vj) in the art worlds of today? What are the conventions of these newcomers? Does he make his own music or is the dj a technician? Is music sampling a new kind of composing music? (cf. The Artwork Itself)
- Improvisations and conventions: creativity and constraint go together in the art worlds. How conventional are improvisations? How unique and personal is an artist in choosing self-imposed constraints within external constraints? (For instance, a photographer vis-à-vis the technical instruments and possibilities.
