Dies Natalis 2006
The Executive Board of Erasmus University Rotterdam and the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy cordially invite you to attend the celebration ceremony of the 93rd Dies Natalis of the University, on Wednesday, 8 November 2006.
This year's focus at the University’s anniversary ceremony is on our Faculty of Philosophy: modest in size (40 staff, 250 students) but boasting excellent, external evaluations of its research and teaching programmes, and involved in society. An honorary doctorate degree will be conferred on Professor Jonathan I. Israel, who will hold a lecture on the Enlightenment.
