Colloquia Funding

Colloquia receive a budget (max. 10.000 euro for the duration of the colloquium). The budget is part of the NIG budget; convenors have to seek approval for expenditures beforehand and NIG will pay afterwards (or directly to hosting organizations). The budget is intended to cover the fees for convenors, the organization of meetings (including hotel costs if necessary, particularly for foreign Ph.D.students), and costs such as inviting a guest speaker or the printing of a book.
